Finally! Christmas 2011 & New Years 2012

On January 7th Daniel was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was a great day that he was able to celebrate with many of our Utah relatives and friends.

One of Ashley's News Years Resolutions this year was to have the boys learn to ski. So, at the beginning of January she took them up to Sundance for ski lessons. While the boys were learning, Ashley, Lizzy & Rachel went for a walk along the beautiful trails.

Lizzy

We have hardly had any snow this winter in Utah, so the girls were excited to go up into the mountains and play in some of the man-made snow up there on the slopes!

Our skiers all ready to go!

Ashley & her friend Emily have started a tradition of going away for a girls trip after Christmas for a few days. This year we went to Park City and had the best time, shopping and getting pampered at the Spa at Montage. It was So much fun!!!

Rachel, our little princess loves to dress up and wear fashion accessories. She is often seen with her high heels on, necklaces, hats, etc. She has a style of her own-- even though she is only 2 1/2!

The boys' big Christmas present this year was a Wii. We held out against it for a long time, but ultimately decided it was better to have it at our house, so we could have kids over and control how much time they spent playing it! They have to do chores to earn time on it each week.

We had 9 AM church this year so we opened most of our Christmas presents after we went there first...

All the girls wanted was squinkies. Now they are all of the house and always being stepped on!

Santa brought Rachel her own dollhouse because he knew that Lizzy had been very possessive of the one she got for her birthday. Once Lizzy saw Rachel's present she was begging to trade dollhouses with her!

We had Mimi & Papa over on Christmas Eve. We have the kids buy presents for their family at the dollar store and wrap the presents. Here Nathan was excited to give Mimi the sewing kit he picked out for her...

Santa brought Lizzy some new doll furniture...(which she was disappointed with once she saw the dollhouse!)
