Snow!

Yesterday, we had our first real snow storm of the season in Utah. There was just enough snow on the lawn for the boys to play in!

Nathan looked so cute in all of his snow gear

Daniel had a great time eating snow and making snow angels....
It took Nathan a little while to warm up to the snow. But, once he did, he didn't want to go inside!

Daniel got snow down his back after doing snow angels and was not happy about it!

Trip to Pumpkin Patch

Last week, Ashley took the boys to the Pumpkin Patch. One of their favorite places to go at Halloween-time. The kids love running through the corn maze and seeing all the animals that are there (turkeys, bunnies, goats, etc.)This year Nathan really enjoyed the Pumpkin patch. He's getting to the age where he thinks it's so great to run from place to place.

Ashley's friend Melissa came along with her kids.
An attempt to keep the boys still for a picture.

Fall

In Utah we are having a beautiful fall this year. The trees are very bright yellows and reds because of all of the frigid weather we had last winter. The temperature outside has been perfect, so we've been having a lot of fun this fall. After Daniel's Kindermusik class we usually walk to the park that is adjacent to it.

The kids have been having lots of fun in the cul-du-sac--collecting bugs and leaves, riding bikes and of course playing with Jonny.
Jonny "Spiderman", Daniel's best friend.
Nathan prefers to push the car rather than ride in it!
Daniel prefers to ride in his hummer alone, however, Nathan LOVES it too, and doesn't watch calmly on the sidelines anymore. Daniel likes to taunt him and not pick him up for rides (until Ashley steps in!).

Conference Weekend

Conference weekend was pretty fun because Ashley got to attend the Sat. Morning session in the Conference Center when the new apostle, Elder Cook was named. The Bishop had given her new YW presidency tickets so they could go and bond. The rest of the sessions we attempted to watch on tv. A joint photo effort. Luckily, we are going to have professional picture taken this week in the Canyon so we can have a nice family picture.

Dave made a special conference weekend dinner for us Friday night. He made clam chowder from scratch-- using the recipe from Market Street Grill. It was great.

Dave's Mom's Birthday

On Sunday, Sept. 30th, we got together at Dave's parent's house to celebrate his mom's birthday. Of course, she did all of the cooking for her own party (which was kind of a shame), but it was fun to hang out with everyone.Nathan loved the ice cream cone!
