Thanksgiving 2007

We spent this past Thanksgiving at Dave's parent's house in Pleasant Grove. Dave's brother Ronnie and his family came to visit from Colorado, so it was a really fun time.

The Chef, Dave's mom
Daniel loved the pie
Uncle Brad with Baby Claire
Dave's sister Linda
Dave's dad carving the turkey
Dave's brother's wife, Bridgette Jensen

Despite the freezing weather, the kids had fun playing outside
Ronnie and his 14 yr. old son, Colin
Ronnie's oldest son Kelvin, 16, and Linda's son Jack 5 yrs.
Ronnie's 3rd son, Alec who's 10 yrs. old
Daniel had fun playing outside with his cousins. The older 7 yr. old boy is Ronnie's youngest son Seth, who actually looks just like Dave did at that age.

Jefra

Yesterday, Jefra and her kids came and spent the afternoon with me. It was a lot of fun. Her kids are Emmett, 5, and Ellie, 2 1/2. She says hello to everyone in our family.

Young Womens

The past week has been full of Young Womens activities. One of them was our Etiquette Night formal dinner with Candilyn Newell. Below is a photo of the YM leaders who all dressed up like waiters and served the kids.

Below is a photo of all the YW leaders I serve with.

Here's the set up for the dinner. The kids had to dress up and they were served a 4 course meal. They seemed to enjoy it.

Family Photos

We recently had a photographer take a family photo of us in the Canyon with all of the fall colors. It was a small miracle that we had any with the kids looking at the camera, because our boys do not like to stay still! Especially Nathan. Ashley felt like she was wrestling with him in every picture!

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year, because both boys throughly enjoyed it! They were so excited to trick-or-treat and also had fun answering the door for our trick-or-treaters....They could hardly wait to get started!
Daniel chose his own costume this year. He was very excited to be bug, or beetle as he says.
Who needs to see anyway?
Nathan really caught onto the concept of trick-or-treating. He ran from house to house and shouted "doorbell!" He wanted to make sure he got there faster than Daniel and his friend Jonny. He also learned how to say "Treat"quickly when he realized there was candy involved. This kid LOVES candy!
