We're a bit behind on our family's blog, but here are some pictures from August. Blogspot scrambled the order in which we posted them so this is going to be a little random....
We went on an outing to the Planetarium in SLC, which we had never been to before. The kids had a great time.

Rachel having the time of her life at the Gateway water fountains.
Lizzy wasn't afraid to get wet this year and had a lot of fun with the shooting fountains.

Daniel doing crazy dress up! He loved that pink wig. He kept using all of our brushes to comb through it so we are still seeing residue of that thing around the house!

Nathan's first day of Kindergarten.
More fountains....
Ashley went on a trip to New Jersey to visit her grandmother before she died, with her mother and brother. Here is her Great Aunt Thelma.

In New Jersey with Cousin Rene, Uncle Ted, Ashley's mom and Stephan. It was fun to get to know Rene, whom Ashley hadn't seen since she was 10. We went to NYC, helped clean out her Grandmother's apartment and just spent time visiting. Then, of course the hurricane came and we had to drive to Pittsburg to get home on time, because all the flights were cancelled!

July 2011 Activities
July was a busy month for us full for daily outings and summer camp. Here are some photos of our experiences....
One of our favorite things to do each year is to go to the hot air balloon festival in Provo over the 4th of July weekend.
You have to get to the festival by 6:30 AM or else you miss all the hot air balloon launches, which is the best part!
There was a new balloon this year-- from Star Wars!
We spent the 4th of July with Dave's family. Here Rachel is having fun with Uncle Brad (and his still voices!)
Grandpa Jensen taught the boys how to play croquet.
Lizzy was spinning circles outside and was having fun feeling dizzy. A game her Jensen cousins taught her.
Cousins Brooke and Claire Oler.
We LOVE to go the Bridal Veil Falls to play in the water.
It's so beautiful in the canyon.
Nathan was having so much fun climbing on the rocks.
The girls
Rachel throwing rocks.
The boys went to summer camp all summer, but Daniel had a conflict for 2 weeks, so Lizzy got to go in his place and she was SO excited!
The girls got in a painting phase and that's all they wanted to do every single day. I walked away for a few minutes and look what I came back to
Nathan was showing off all the crafts he made at summer camp....

May 2011
May was a busy month spend with family. Ashley's sister Brooke was in town with her family, so we spent a lot of time doing fun things with them. We also celebrated Mother's Day, Lizzy's 3rd birthday and Rachel's 2nd birthday.
We celebrated Mother's Day on the Heilner side by having a picnic at the park.
Nathan was proud to walk Ashley's parents dog, Rosie, around the park.
Adults enjoying the shade while the kids played on the playground.

We went to the Farm at Thanksgiving Point with Brooke and her family. It was really fun because there were LOTS of baby animals.
There was a cute baby foal that was super friendly
He even let Nathan and Ocean pet him
Another baby horse
Nathan loved the pony rides at the farm
Ocean was fearless and loved the pony rides too
Brooke & Stuart and their kids Ocean and Maple on the wagon ride.
Having fun 'in jail'
Lizzy
The girls enjoyed feeding the roosters and chickens corn kernels.
We ran into Loriol, Ashley's friend and former Physical Therapist at the Farm.

Primary Childrens Hospital gave us tickets to ride Thomas the Train when we has in town. Nathan is a big fan of Thomas, so he was excited about it.

Nathan had 2 months of limited activites after his heart surgery, so at the end of May he was free to do anything he wanted to so we went outside and rode bikes (something he wasn't allowed to do)
