This Christmas we were able to spend time with both sides of our family, the Jensens and the Heilners.

Snow & Christmas Lights
We finally have gotten some snow. We've had several big snow storms over the last 3 days and the boys are having a blast playing in it. Ashley just wishes it didn't take so long to get their snow gear on!
Ashley thought that she might as well put the boys to work outside. She bought kid snow shovels for them this year and they have had a great time shoveling our front walkway for us!
Last night we went to Temple Square in Salt Lake City to see all of the colorful Christmas lights. It was the first time we had taken the boys and they were really excited. Uncle Dane came along and it was really fun to spend some time with him while he is home visiting from Boston.
Elizabeth warmed up to Uncle Dane on this outing. She was a little uncertain of him at first, but at the end of the night they were great friends.
Uncle Dane with the boys. Daniel was VERY proud to carry the pass along card the missionaries gave him.

Ward Christmas Parties
This cute picture was taken in the morning.
On Dec. 13th our Foothill Ward has its annual Christmas breakfast. Ashley's brother's family came along and here is a picture of her nephews Barrett and Austin.
Daniel and Nathan with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Nathan wanted a "wizard" and Daniel wanted Santa to surprise him. He's desperately hoping that Santa will bring him his own tv and dvd player to put in his room. But Ashley and Dave have been telling him that Santa's elves don't make tvs, so he'll probably bring him something else really special.
The Primary children singing. Nathan LOVES to sing and had the time of his life up there shaking his bell.
Daniel's 5th Birthday Party
On December 12th Daniel turned 5! This year we decided to do a friends birthday party at Kangaroo Zoo (a huge warehouse with bouncy houses).
Ashley brought donuts to Daniel's morning preschool for his birthday. Here his class is singing Happy Birthday to him.
Daniel at Kangaroo Zoo. It's an awesome place with about 20 huge bouncy houses. The kids just run around and go crazy!

Thanksgiving 2008
On Thanksgiving Morning we woke up and made a gingerbread house while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
We were lucky enough to have two Thanksgiving dinners this year. We started off at Ashley's parents house and then finished at Dave's sister Linda's house that evening.
On Black Friday Ashley took the boys to the University Mall in Orem to see Santa arrive from a helicopter in the sky.
