Surprise Baby Shower

Yesterday when Ashley went to Mutual, the Young Women threw her a surprise baby shower. She had no idea and was truly shocked when she walked in! She thought that the Young men and Young women were going to play coed volleyball! The young men were actually invited to the shower too and her counselors came up with all sorts of fun games, like guess the baby food flavor.... It was a fun night. It was very thoughtful of them to do!

Riding Cars with Cousins

On Friday, Mimi brought over Daniel and Nathan's cousins to come play for the afternoon. We were having such nice weather the kids wants to ride cars outside. It was so cute to watch these 4 little boys all drive around the cul-du-sac.Daniel on his motor bike

Daniel's Summit

On Thursday & Friday Dave had to attend meetings at Daniel's Summit for BYU's assessment committee (which he is part of). Spouses were invited to come along and enjoy the resort, so Ashley had a fun time hanging out in the hotel room -- reading and working on photo albums while Dave was busy at work. We figured that it was our last chance to get away before the new baby comes.

Daniel's Summit was about 20 miles east of Heber. There was nothing around it at all. It is a spa resort used for corporate retreats and is popular with snowmobiling fanatics.

Seth's Baptism

On March 29th, Dave's nephew Seth Jensen was baptized in Pleasant Grove and we were invited to attend. Daniel hasn't seen many baptisms so he was pretty intrigued with the whole thing. Seth lives in Colorado, with his family (Dave's older brother Ron & family), but they came out to Utah so that his grandparents could be part of the baptism.
